Welcome to our dynamic 3.75-hour pod program that teaches English Language Arts (ELA) and Math plus engaging mini lessons in Science and Social Studies. Our hands-on, project-based approach fosters relational learning, ensuring that each child is actively involved and their unique learning styles are accommodated. This engaging class is designed to inspire curiosity and promote a love for learning in a supportive group. Join us for an educational experience that adapts to every child's level and ignites their passion for knowledge.

Cherry Tree: session material fee $30 Mon / $30 Wed 

Our 3-hour STEAM Enrichment Pod offers a balanced, engaging learning experience that nurtures creativity, curiosity, and meaningful social connections. Students rotate through hands-on learning centers featuring science, technology, engineering, art, and math activities designed to inspire exploration and critical thinking.

The day also includes dedicated social-emotional learning, where students build communication skills, confidence, resilience, empathy, and teamwork through group discussions, games, and collaborative activities.

Children have plenty of opportunities for free play and open-ended exploration, allowing them to create, imagine, build, and discover at their own pace in a supportive, mixed-learning environment. Whether designing engineering challenges, experimenting with art and science materials, solving puzzles, or enjoying outdoor play, students develop independence, problem-solving skills, and lasting friendships.

This enriching pod is perfect for homeschool families seeking a joyful blend of academic enrichment, creative exploration, social growth, and play in a warm, welcoming community.

Our TK/K Learning Pod provides a warm, engaging, and nurturing environment where young learners build confidence through hands-on exploration, play-based learning, and meaningful friendships. Designed specifically for homeschool families, this 3-hour program blends academic readiness with creativity, movement, and social development.

Each class includes:

• Early literacy through phonics, reading readiness, stories, and writing activities

• Foundational math concepts using hands-on manipulatives and games

• Science and nature exploration

• Art, music, and creative expression

• Circle time for calendar, weather, songs, and community building

• Fine and gross motor development

• Social-emotional learning, cooperation, kindness, and independence

• Outdoor play and movement

Our small class sizes allow each child to learn at their own pace while developing a love of learning in a supportive, joyful setting. Every day is filled with discovery, imagination, and opportunities to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Grades 7/8/9 Pod Jenny: session material fee $20

This year's students will move on to Michael Clay Thompson's Essay Voyages with an emphasis on the process of writing a good essay.  Literature for the first two sessions will include: The Moffats, Animal Farm, poetry and picture study.   Ancient history will cover the civilizations of Mesopotamia, Egyptian, Greek and Roman with the following literature books to enhance the understanding of history: Gilgamesh, God's King, Thera and his Town and D'Aulaires Greek Myths.  Science will explore the world of botany along with the study of ecosystems, we will use the Project Botany curriculum.

Amazing Inventors and Inventions (Grades 1-3) Jessica session material fee $25

Curious minds will love discovering the people and ideas that changed the world! In this engaging, hands-on elective, students will explore the lives of famous inventors and the incredible inventions that have shaped our everyday lives.  Each week, we'll learn about a different inventor— students will investigate how problems inspired creative solutions, explore the science behind important inventions, and complete fun projects, STEM challenges, crafts, and simple experiments related to each invention.

This class encourages curiosity, creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking while helping students see that great ideas can come from anyone. Young inventors will even have opportunities to design and build inventions of their own!

Students will enjoy:

Math Games and Logic (Grades 3-5) Marilyn

Who says math can't be fun? In this exciting, hands-on elective, students strengthen their math skills through strategy games, puzzles, brain teasers, and engaging challenges that make learning enjoyable.

Rather than worksheets and drills, students will practice critical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning while playing games that reinforce concepts such as multiplication, division, fractions, geometry, patterns, measurement, and number sense. They'll also tackle logic puzzles, team challenges, and real-world math activities that encourage creativity and perseverance.

This class helps students build confidence in math while developing the analytical skills they can use in every subject—and in everyday life.

Math in Nature Grades (1-3) Marilyn session material fee $15

Discover the amazing ways math is all around us! In this hands-on outdoor-inspired elective, students explore mathematical concepts through the beauty and patterns found in nature. From counting flower petals and measuring leaves to discovering symmetry in butterflies and spirals in seashells, children will see how math helps us understand the world around us.

Through nature walks, interactive investigations, games, art projects, and simple STEM activities, students will build foundational math skills while developing observation, curiosity, and a deeper appreciation for the environment.

Students will explore:

• Patterns and symmetry in nature

• Counting, sorting, and classifying natural objects

• Measuring with standard and non-standard tools

• Shapes found in plants, animals, and landscapes

• Estimation and data collection

• Graphing, comparing, and recording observations

• Nature-inspired math games and creative projects

 

Young Journalists / Newspaper Club (Grades 3-5) Jessica session material fee $25

Students will explore different types of journalism, including news reporting, feature stories, interviews, reviews, comics, and opinion writing. They will practice asking thoughtful questions, gathering information, checking facts, and writing clear, engaging articles for a class newspaper or digital publication.

Each week, students will work together as an editorial team—brainstorming story ideas, conducting interviews, taking photos or creating illustrations, and designing pages for publication. This class builds strong writing skills while encouraging creativity, teamwork, communication, and confidence.

 

Emotional Awareness and Art Exploration (Grades 1-3) Dr. Kate

 In this fun and inspiring class, kids explore their creativity and learn to express themselves with confidence through art and imagination. Each week includes hands-on art projects that help children share their ideas and discover their unique creative voice. Students will create drawings, paintings, comics, pattern art, and nature-inspired projects while practicing creativity and positive self-expression. This class is joyful, encouraging, and accessible to all children, with no art experience needed. It’s a wonderful way for kids to grow creatively and emotionally in a supportive, gentle and creative environment.

 

Quick Healthy Cooking (Grades 3-5) Jessica session material fee $40

Young chefs will discover that healthy eating can be fun, simple, and delicious! In this hands-on cooking elective, students will learn basic kitchen skills while preparing quick, nutritious recipes they can make at home with confidence.  Each week, students will practice measuring, mixing, chopping (with age-appropriate tools), following recipes, and learning about healthy ingredients. They'll explore balanced nutrition, food safety, and smart cooking habits while creating tasty snacks, breakfasts, lunches, and simple treats.

Resilience and Emotional Intelligence (Grades 3-5) Dr. Kate 

Resilience and Emotional Intelligence will help your child build confidence, manage big feelings, and develop strong social skills. Through games, mindfulness, role-play, and creative activities, students learn how to handle challenges and bounce back with a positive mindset. This class nurtures empathy, communication, and self-awareness in a supportive, fun group environment. Kids will gain lifelong tools for friendships, learning, and everyday stress.

Real World Reading Lab (Middle School) Gina 

In Real World Reading Lab, students build strong reading comprehension skills by engaging with real-world texts that connect to current events, science, society, and human behavior.

Instead of reading from traditional textbooks, students analyze short, high-interest nonfiction articles and informational texts. They learn to identify main ideas, evaluate evidence, recognize perspective, and connect reading to real-life situations.

Process Art Studio (Grades 1-3)​ session material fee $30

In Process Art Studio, students will become artists, inventors, and creative problem-solvers as they explore a wide variety of art materials, techniques, and ideas. Rather than following step-by-step instructions to make identical projects, students will experiment, take creative risks, and discover their own artistic style.

Each week, students will investigate a new artistic concept such as color, texture, movement, nature, sculpture, or storytelling through art. They will learn about famous artists and art movements, draw inspiration from the world around them, and create original works using paint, clay, recycled materials, natural objects, and mixed media.

STEM Engineers (Grades 3-5) session material fee $25

Think marble runs, catapults, bridges; students will explore the exciting world of engineering through fun design challenges, creative building projects, and real-world problem solving. Each week, students will use the Engineering Design Process to imagine, plan, build, test, and improve their own creations while learning about the science and math behind them.

 

Economics and Real World Money (Middle School)​ session material fee $20

students explore how money, choices, and resources shape everyday life and the world around them. This class introduces core economic ideas such as earning, spending, saving, budgeting, supply and demand, and entrepreneurship through hands-on activities and simulations rather than lectures.

Students will run mini “economy” activities, make budgeting decisions, explore how businesses work, and learn how people and communities allocate limited resources. They will also analyze real-world examples like pricing, advertising, jobs, and trade to understand how economic systems affect their daily lives.

 

Storybook Club (Grades 1-3) session material fee $20

Step into the pages of a story! In Storybook Club, students will explore beloved picture books and early chapter books through read-alouds, discussion, hands-on projects, art, games, and imaginative play. Each week, we will dive into a new story, meet memorable characters, and bring books to life through creative activities inspired by the stories we read.

Cursive, Calligraphy, Textual Art and Creativity (Grades 3-5)​

Discover the beauty of handwriting while turning words into works of art! In this creative class, students will build confidence in cursive writing, explore the basics of calligraphy, and experiment with fun lettering styles and decorative text art. Through engaging projects, they'll create personalized bookmarks, greeting cards, inspirational quotes, journals, posters, and other artistic keepsakes while strengthening fine motor skills, creativity, and attention to detail.

 

Creative Writing and Short Stories (Middle School)​

Through fun writing prompts, collaborative activities, and guided lessons, students will learn how to create compelling characters, build exciting plots, write realistic dialogue, and craft vivid settings.

Writers will experiment with different genres, strengthen their descriptive writing, and gain confidence in revising and sharing their work in a supportive environment. By the end of the session, each student will have completed several original short stories and built a personal writing portfolio to showcase their creativity and growth.

 

Mini Cooks (Grades 1-3)​ session material fee $40

​Young chefs will mix, measure, create, and taste their way through this fun, hands-on cooking class! Students will learn basic kitchen skills, practice following recipes, and discover the importance of nutrition, food safety, and teamwork while preparing simple, kid-friendly recipes.

Life Skills and Home Ec (Grades 3-5)​

Math Lab (Middle School) 1 hour 25 min $288

​Build confidence, sharpen problem-solving skills, and discover that math can be both practical and fun! In Math Lab, students will strengthen essential math concepts through hands-on activities, games, puzzles, real-world challenges, and collaborative projects. Whether reviewing foundational skills or tackling more advanced topics, lessons are designed to meet students where they are and help them grow.

 

US States Through Art (Grades 1-3) session material fee $20

Throughout the session, each student's creations will become part of a collaborative giant United States map, with every state represented by original student artwork. During the final class, students will assemble the pieces into one large, colorful mural that showcases everything they've learned about our country.

This class combines geography, history, creativity, and teamwork in an exciting way that helps students develop a deeper appreciation for the diversity of the United States while creating a memorable masterpiece to display.

Theatre (Grades 1-8) 90 minute class $288

​Come explore the magic of theater! Drama, comedy, musical theater, and artistic and technical direction will help you grow as a thespian and performer! We will dive into scenes, stage direction, makeup, costumes and more! Let your inner artist soar and experience the joy of performing!
